Found a weird candy stick at the night market in china, it’s pineapple and strawberry dipped in sugar. It was super sweet but still good, no wonder I looked like a pregnant lady with all the weird food over there but I enjoyed most of it. Definitely want to go back sometime in the near future.

Home in Sweden again, and it’s cold and wet. It’s been raining all day and apparently it’s supposed to do that the rest of the week too, yay… I’m already starting to miss Beijing and the weather but it’s sooooo nice being able to breathe normal again. There’s so much pollution over there it’s sick. Bleh.

Hiking on the great wall has to be one of the coolest thing I’ve ever done! It was so much fun, and the view was amazing! It really felt like walking in a fairy tale land. When I go back to china I have to visit mr Chen again and walk the second part of the wall. An unforgettable memory, indeed. I recommend everyone who’s planning on going to Beijing to visit mr Chen and hike on the great wall.

Spent yesterday bicycling around in Beijing, ate beijing waffles and visited the lama temple and the drum tower too. Bought some awesome “antique” leather books as well, can’t wait to order all the photos and make an album out one of them.

Fed a giraffe today, so cool! It was really huge! Saw pandas and a lot of other animals too. After a day at the zoo we decided to get massage, awesome! Now dinner and then some night market with weird food, sounds yucky.

Spent the day at the summer palace here in Beijing, a really beautiful place to just saunter in. Luckily it’s not as hot as yesterday but still way hotter than the Swedish summer heat that I’m used to.

So I’m in Beijing now, and it’s really really hot here! It’s around 30 degrees and it’s only eight o’clock, and it looks like it’s getting hotter tomorrow. But it’s nice here, too bad that they’ve blocked Facebook tho. Hard to update the people back home with exciting photos and happenings.. Oh well, it’l come later. Now it’s time for dinner!

After some nagging, I’ve finally seen The Hunger Games.
Not as good as the book but I hadn’t expected that either, was a little sad that they’d changed some of the details though, and removed some scenes; like when Haymitch falls of the stage drunk as hell at the reaping. And I was a little surprised on how they made Rue look like, I always imagined her looking like Prim, well it said so in the book as well, but other than that it was good!
